Tuition and Withdrawal Policy
Acton Academy East Bay requires the payment by check of $2550.00 in nonrefundable prepaid tuition with each enrollment. Acton Academy East Bay has two tuition payment plans, referred to as the “ONE” and “ELEVEN” plans. The ONE plan offers discounted tuition for pre-payment. The ONE plan requires a single payment on or before June 1 of that school year. The ELEVEN plan requires eleven payments, each on the first day of the month beginning on August 1, and ending on June 1.
Parents are obligated to make all tuition payments in by the due dates as defined by the tuition schedule, including in the case of the student’s absence from school regardless of the timing, reason, or duration of such absence. All tuition payments are nonrefundable except as described in the withdrawal and termination policy below. Parents who choose the ELEVEN month plan are required to authorize Acton Academy East Bay to receive automatic payments from their checking account. The nonrefundable prepaid tuition of $2550.00 is considered part of tuition and will be credited toward the final scheduled tuition payment noted herein so long as the final payment is made and the student remains enrolled through the end of the school year.
Effective 2021-2022, we may require proof of Tuition Insurance if paying monthly.
Acton Academy East Bay offers prorated tuition if you start in the middle of the school year. The rate is calculated based upon a modified percentage of days remaining and the session start date. The registration fee is not prorated.
Acton Academy East Bay offers sibling discounts for families with more than one child enrolled at Acton Academy East Bay concurrently. Tuition for the oldest sibling will be at the regular rate, tuition for the second sibling and subsequent child will be discounted by five percent. The sibling discount will be calculated based on the selected tuition payment plan. To be eligible for the discount, siblings must attend for the same period of time, parents must make all tuition payments on time and students must complete the school year at Acton Academy East Bay. The sibling discount, if applicable, will be credited toward the final scheduled tuition payment for the school year so long as the final payment is made.
